Have you heard? The Oakland Museum of California is undergoing construction, and we’re making some exciting improvements to our campus!

The construction will include significant enhancements to the café. Therefore, OMCA’s Blue Oak café is now closed, reopening later this summer with an exciting new concept: Town Fare by Tanya Holland. Keep reading for more information about OMCA's food service options. 

Town Fare by Tanya Holland

Get excited for OMCA’s new café, Town Fare by Tanya Holland, coming later this summer. Because we’re more than a museum, we’re thrilled to invite you to experience our new dining destination from Oakland-based Brown Sugar Kitchen Hospitality Group (BSKHG), led by Executive Chef Tanya Holland. 

Come enjoy a fresh, vegetable-forward, California soul food-inspired menu in a newly-renovated, fast-casual communal dining environment. Bring your friends—or mingle with new ones—to gather and make connections over the one thing that brings us all together: a delicious meal. 

The expected hours of service are Wednesday–Sunday, 11 am–5 pm, with dinner service offered until 10 pm each Friday during Friday Nights at OMCA. Catering services for onsite events will also be available.
