Every third Sunday, join OMCA for a deep dive into the ideas, practices, and experiences of California culture makers. Through performances, film screenings,  inspiring conversations, and lively audience discussions, we delve into the themes of OMCA’s exhibitions and emerging issues affecting our community. Spotlight Sundays is an opportunity to participate in a civic hub for public dialogue, reflection, and gathering. Come engage with the people and ideas that drive and shape California and beyond.

Spotlight Sundays: Japanese American Legacies of Resistance November 15 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

This Sunday, we are stepping into the historical legacy that inspired OMCA’s latest special exhibition, BeHere / 1942: A New Lens on the Japanese American Incarceration. With opening remarks by OMCA Executive Director Lori Fogarty, we will engage with this present moment in American history with the clarity and learnings of the past.
