Volunteers

Become an OMCA Volunteer

Becoming an OMCA volunteer is easy!

Volunteering at OMCA gives you a chance to get more involved with the museum you love. We are always recruiting enthusiastic volunteers to assist with school groups, cultural celebrations, public programs, gardening, administrative support and more.

Our Volunteer Team has set up an easy 3 step onboarding process:

  1. Register on Shiftboard by clicking this link.
  1. Attend an onsite  OMCA Volunteer Information Session

(dates for upcoming information session are posted on shiftboard calendar)

  1. After attending a Volunteer Information Session, you will receive our Volunteer Handbook and info to complete a minimal Background Check.

That’s it!

After that, our volunteer calendar will open up and you will be able to get started with shifts. Some of our roles require training and commitment. All trainings are provided and commitments vary with roles and/or events.
