Gallery Host

Gallery Host

Role:

  • Welcome and orient school groups to the galleries
  • Engage self-guided school groups in casual conversations about the exhibitions and galleries
  • Assist adults and students with group management, wayfinding, encourage exploration, and serve as a hospitality resource

Schedule/Shifts

  • 9:30am-1pm on Wednesdays
  • 10:30am-2pm on Thursdays and Fridays
  • Minimum two shifts per month

Training requirements:

  • OMCA volunteer orientation
  • Gallery host orientation (2.5 hours)
