Widen your minds and your appetites when you join OMCA in Total Response! Referencing Horace Silver’s 1972 album, Total Response! is a rap performance and conversation that guides listeners to interrogate our present reality and poses questions as seeds that audience members can cultivate and pass along as their awareness of inequity widens. Between sessions, give your tastebuds a chance to be wowed by Cooking Demonstrations happening in Town Fare.
Liven up your Thursday night with a rooted and participatory performance by Hanna Mayree (they/them). Their art is a reminder of the power found in our relationship to the earth, music, and community and is an invitation to listen, learn, and sing together through various musical landscapes.
