Performers
Mak Nova aka Mak Daddie The Prince, is not your average rapper. She is a true poet, a mystic. She is a sensual, alluring, queer icon. Her live act (with a backing band) is described as a “Groovy Hip-Hop, Afro-Funk Dance Party.”
DJ Mai Girl plays festivals, clubs, shows, and private events all over the West Coast and beyond. Her unique blend of genres and hand-picked selections–whether it be hip hop, soul, house, jazzy vibes, old school jams, Afro, Caribbean or Latin rhythms–keep people moving all night.
Amber Julian is a Bay Area based performance & teaching artist, educator and community organizer of over 20 years. Her intention and mission is always to connect to and uplift her Afro-Indigenous roots through movement and storytelling. Her experience as a professional dancer and passion for authentic and ancestral expression fully aligns with and fuels her work in the world.
