Registration for 2026/27 school year programs is now open for OUSD, and opens 6月 5 for all schools. Program sold out? We encourage you to join our waitlist.
All field trips are free for OUSD schools during the 2026/27 school year. Title I discounts and transportation scholarships are also available. See the “Plan Your Visit” section below for more details on how to request a scholarship.

奖学金和折扣
All programs and self-guided visits are free for Oakland Unified School District groups. Title I schools outside of OUSD receive a 50% discount during the school year.
Public transit and bus scholarships are available during the school year. Please request a scholarship during the registration process. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year, with priority given to OUSD and Title I schools. Transportation scholarships are not guaranteed to all who apply.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your field trip, please contact [email protected] at least two weeks before your scheduled visit. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than two weeks before your visit date.

Join our 2026/27 school year waitlist if the program you are interested in is currently sold out. If a program spot opens up that matches your request, we’ll contact you to make your reservation. Please note: there is no waitlist for summer visits.

A maximum of 10 chaperones are allowed per reservation. Please note: if the ratio of adult chaperones to students exceeds 1:4, there will be a charge of $9.50 per additional adult.

交通和停车

午餐和背包存储
Please leave student backpacks at school or on the bus. Lunches and small personal items can be stored at OMCA’s School Group Entrance during your visit. A limited number of first-come, first-served lockers are located on each level and cannot be guaranteed available. Please do not bring valuables to the Museum. Adults with backpacks must hand-carry them at their side or front while in the galleries. Bag lunches can be eaten in the OMCA Garden or at the picnic tables near the Koi Pond, but are not allowed in Town Fare by Michele McQueen or at the tables on the cafe terrace.

教师联谊会
立即申请OMCA 2026年度教师研究金！与同行教师及OMCA工作人员携手，利用本馆的展厅和馆藏，为学生设计并打造学习体验。今年，我们将探讨这样一个问题：学生如何向加州原住民学习，以维护健康的栖息地和社区，既造福当下，也惠及子孙后代？
该项目将以在OMCA举办的为期5天的“教师夏令营”拉开序幕。通过从博物馆展品中汲取灵感、与原住民教育工作者及博物馆策展人交流，以及参与探究式学习体验，您将与同行及OMCA工作人员通力合作，为学生起草学习资源。这些资源将用于指导学生前往OMCA的实地考察活动，该活动既能补充您现有的课程内容，又能加深学生对加州原住民文化的理解，并赋能学生作为变革者的声音。
每月与同组成员通过Zoom进行交流，将持续营造一个互助社区，为项目实施和问题解决提供支持，并不断注入灵感、资源和合作机会。

- 2026年6月22日至26日：教师夏令营，上午9点至下午4点，在OMCA现场举行
- 2026年秋季至初冬：四次课后Zoom线上交流
- 2027年春季：研究员们将在OMCA春季“教师之夜”活动中展示他们的作品
