Special Guest Gallery Chats: Photography Workshop with Black Film Guild

July 27 from 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

Admission ticket required

Join us for this unique in-gallery photography workshop led by director, photographer, and Executive Director of the Black Film Guild, Walter Wallace. This multifaceted workshop is a unique way to learn essential photography techniques from an experienced instructor, while exploring the OMCA galleries and building community. This is a wonderful opportunity for photography enthusiasts of all levels.

The workshop will begin with a hands-on demonstration where you will learn tips and strategies for using both your digital camera and your phone camera for taking great shots. Spare digital cameras will be supplied for visitors who do not have their own. Then join Gallery Chats Facilitator, Avril Angevine, for a guided tour of OMCA’s photography collection where she will highlight some of the same techniques on our gallery walls. We will then close out with a fun and interactive #OMCA photo scavenger hunt.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow photographers and unleash your creativity in a dynamic and educational setting! All are welcome!
