Changing California Guided Gallery Visit
Guided Gallery Visit – Changing California
Grades 3-6
How do habitats and communities shape each other over time? Explore how California’s regional habitats and communities shift with geologic time, climate change, or human activities in the Gallery of California Natural Sciences. Students will investigate different California regions, observe both natural and human-driven changes, and identify how different communities are working to create healthier habitats for a more biodiverse future.
This is not your typical museum tour! OMCA educators and volunteers will facilitate student-driven investigation of the galleries using program themes and inquiry routines. Students will have time to explore the gallery before coming together at the end to share their findings.
