Rock out in the OMCA Amphitheater to alternating hard-driving and dreamy rock riffs by San Francisco indie-rock band, see night, starting at 5 pm. Don’t miss a dynamic live show reminiscent of shoegaze and alternative rock of the ‘90s, filled with a mixture of ethereal vocals, swelling drums, and atmospheric guitars.

About see night

see night is a San Francisco indie-rock 4-piece, fronted by singer-songwriter Linda Sao with drummer Cory Aboud, guitarist Pat Andrews, and bassist AJ Marquez. Cathartic songs delivered with haunting vocals, swelling drums, and atmospheric guitars straddle somewhere between ‘90s indie-rock and woozy shoegaze. After their two self-released EPs, stateside band tours, and EU/UK solo tours, the band’s first vinyl was put out by Pavement’s Bob Nastanovich—the “Eloquence” 7-inch on his Brokers Tip Records. 2022 saw a return to touring with Vancouver’s The Pack A.D. and a third EU solo tour. 2023 will see the release of a Nashville-recorded album of pandemic bedroom songs that Nastanovich describes as “glorious” and continued touring.

About DJ Karlita

A Nicaragüense-American born and raised in the Bay Area, Karlita has spread her wings artistically as a performer, competitor, and community organizer. From her community, she’s known as a freestyle dancer. Throughout her dance career, she’s taught and traveled with organizations such All The Way Live Foundation and done residencies in Tanzania, Uganda, and Senegal. From these travels, the love she has for music has been an exploration over the years from disco, funk, hip hop, Afrobeats, and Latin grooves. Karlita simply views DJing as a musical love letter to give back to her community.
