This Friday Night at OMCA, the Garden Stage will come alive with a powerful performance by Gabriela Sepúlveda, known as “La Nueva Reina Del Regional,” accompanied by the all-women ensemble Mariachi Bonitas de Dinorah. Together, they deliver a heartfelt tribute to Mexican tradition—honoring love, memory, and family through timeless mariachi classics and passionate storytelling. With vibrant vocals, emotional depth, and a shared reverence for heritage, their performance invites the community to gather in the glow of the season to reflect and celebrate.

Step into the rhythm with a beginner-friendly bolero dance lesson led by Weslei Guimarães. Known for its romantic tempo and graceful movement, bolero is a timeless Latin dance style that’s easy to learn and full of feeling—perfect for dancers of all levels looking to connect through motion.

Let DJ Lizzy al Toque take you on a journey through tropical sounds from across Latin America. Spinning a vibrant mix of chicha, cumbia, Latin psych, and surf rock, her set pulses with rhythm and nostalgia. A beloved Bay Area selector and member of Chulita Vinyl Club, Lizzy’s sound transforms the Amphitheater into a joyful dance space with deep roots and irresistible fall grooves.

Friday Nights at OMCA also offer a well-rounded gallery experience with Gallery Chats. Unlike traditional museum tours, Gallery Chats invite visitors to engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and connect with OMCA facilitators, who combine deep content knowledge with lived experience to encourage fresh interpretations of the Museum’s exhibitions. It’s a night to explore global traditions, find your flow, and celebrate community through music, dance, and inquiry.
