Let the summer heat and Friday Nights at OMCA ignite you this August! BULULÚ sets our Garden stage alight with an electrifying blend of Latin dance music and Caribbean rhythms that’s guaranteed to get you and your crew dancing. BULULÚ is sure to make this Friday Nights at OMCA full of savory beats, engaging performances, and even a few exciting surprises along the way.

Drag Storytime with Per Sia and their captivating reading of Paletero Man by Lucky Diaz will stoke your fire and keep you in the right mood for a scorching hot DJ set with the legendary Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist spinning a mix of Hip Hop, funk, soul, and reggae.

In addition to an outstanding event experience, every Friday Nights at OMCA also offers guests a well-rounded gallery experience with Gallery Chats. Unlike the traditional museum tour, Gallery Chats invites visitors to chat, ask questions, and connect with our OMCA facilitators who combine content knowledge with lived experience to encourage meaningful dialogue and fresh interpretations of our galleries.

To top it all off, be sure to design your own custom button inspired by the summer season and our newest exhibition Calli: The Art of Xicanx Peoples, a perfect way to remember another great Friday Nights at OMCA.

Limited $10 flat rate parking for Friday Nights is available in the OMCA Garage until 10 pm. Learn more about getting to the museum.
