Join us for live performances promoting family, community, culture and love! Celebrating its 14th year, Afrocentric Oakland is dedicated to building bridges across the African diaspora and improving the holistic wellness of the Black/African community in the Bay Area.

In addition, DJ Fanny Fathom will be providing music on the Amphitheater stage from 6 to 8 pm.

Program Schedule

5 pm –  Face painting by Bush Mama 

5–6 pm – DJ set by DJ K-La V

6 pm – Meditation by Akilah Burford

6:10–6:25 pm – Yoga Class by Rondy Isaac 

6:30–7:15 pm – Live music by Soul Mechanix 

7:15–7:35 pm – Afro Dance Class by Alicia 

7:35–8:30 pm – DJ set by DJ Aebl Dee

Reconnect with family, friends, and community at OMCA every Friday night. These free events provide a gathering place to come together each week, including live music, hands-on activities, and Off the Grid food trucks. Take advantage of late-night access to our galleries and special exhibitions with a Museum ticket.
