Tradition and healing at Calli: The Art of Xicanx Peoples

Featured in our special exhibition is Felicia ‘Fe’ Montes, who is a Xicana-Indígena artist, activist, educator and herbalist from East Los Angeles. Her project La Botanica del Barrio focuses on sharing, making, and documenting wellness remedies for and by the people.

This Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, celebrate ancestral forms of liberation and healing by visiting Calli: The Art of Xicanx Peoples.
