Drawing On

Viewing Hours: Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–7 p.m.

Drawing is a form of artistic expression with an immediacy unlike other forms of visual art. From cave wall to paper, canvas to concrete, people have been making drawings for millennia. It is a medium that can be used as a starting point or an end in itself. The four Bay Area artists in this exhibition—Andrea Voinot, Patricia Thomas, Cassie Davis and Justin Limoges —use drawing as a means of interpreting the world.

This exhibit is a collaboration between the Oakland Museum of California and Shorenstein Realty Services. Open and free to the public. BART, AC Transit, and wheelchair accessible.
