DESCRIPTION:Spotlight Sundays: Earthseed Screening with People’s Kitchen Collective and Emory Douglas\n\n        \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdults 18+\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDon’t miss a pop-up performance in the Gallery of California Natural Sciences\, Cordell Bank Deep Sea Theater\, by soprano Claire Gendler as she performs selected classical pieces by composers such as Mozart\, Schubert\, Finzi\, Fauré\, and Britten. \n\n\n\nThe Gallery of California Natural Sciences will come alive with a can’t-miss pop-up performance. In between performance sessions stroll through OMCA’s award-winning galleries or stop by Town Fare for refreshing food and drinks. \n\n\n\nGallery programming is included with the price of general Museum admission for guests\, and totally free for Museum Members. Town Fare Café will be open to visitors until 8 pm.   \n\n\n\nVisitors are invited to bring a friend for free by taking advantage of our limited time 2 for 1 Museum ticket deal every Thursday\, 5—8 pm throughout the inaugural season of Thursday After Hours. \n\n\n\nFor online ticket purchases\, click the button below and use the discount code Thursdate on the payment page to receive the 2 for 1 deal. Performer. Instructor. Musician. Originally from San Jose\, California\, Claire’s first instrument was the trombone\, which she played from fifth grade through her undergraduate education at University of California\, Santa Cruz.  It was there that she discovered her love of singing and went on to earn her Bachelor of Music in Operatic Vocal Performance in 2008. Claire was later awarded a scholarship to California Institute of the Arts and completed her Master of Fine Arts also in Operatic Vocal Performance.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Thursday After Hours\n\n\n\nExperience Thursday After Hours at OMCA – your weekly night out at the Museum\, rich with cocktails\, culture\, and community.
