In celebration of the art of Giant Robot, contemporary indie artist, Andrew Hem used OMCA’s Oak Street Plaza as the location for a 12 x 40 foot mural. The mural entitled, "I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you," depicts a slumbering youth in a mountain landscape. Hem is known for his large scale murals in urban environments, and is one of the most-recognized among the underground art pantheon of urban artists.

Ode to California

Long before the SuperAwesome: Art and Giant Robot exhibition was conceived, kozyndan visited OMCA’s Gallery of Natural Sciences. They were inspired to create the immersive installation, "Ode to California" which includes many references to the flora and fauna of our state.
