Virtual Friday Nights at OMCA: 2020 Juneteenth Program
Friday, June 19, 5–7 pm

Friday Nights at OMCA is going virtual! In commemoration of Juneteenth 2020, we bring together a cross section of Oakland artists, educators, and activists to honor efforts made in the ongoing struggle for the liberation of Black people everywhere. Each contributor is a pillar in their communities and a major contributor to the cultural landscape of the Bay Area. Collectively, they carry a torch by keeping alive the beautiful traditions of this sacred place. With humility and gratitude, we hope this offering will be a source of inspiration and joy as we continue to demand respect and dignity for all Black Lives. We welcome you to join us.

A list of resources compiled by staff (including organizations staff are suggesting we support) can be found here.
