What offerings are available for the 2021–22 school year?
We are not planning to host facilitated onsite programs or tours at this time—check out our virtual field trips for other engaging learning opportunities. We are also planning to offer onsite self-guided visits to OMCA later in fall 2021. For up-to-date information about OMCA’s school group visits, sign up for our teacher mailing list.

What platform do you use for virtual field trips?
We host all virtual field trips on OMCA’s Zoom account. You will receive log-in information after booking online. Our Black History and El Día de los Muertos Virtual Performances will be live streamed on YouTube, with a recording available for classes who are not available or would like to celebrate beyond the original streaming date.

What methods of payment does OMCA accept?
OMCA is excited to offer virtual field trips free of cost for the 2021–22 school year. Self-guided visits for K–12 are scheduled using our online registration system, and require a credit card for payment.

The virtual field trip or in person self-guided visit I want is sold out, what are my options?
If your preferred virtual field trip or self-guided visit is sold out, you can join the waitlist by selecting your preferred time slot through the program’s registration page. You will be contacted if your time slot becomes available. You can also check out our virtual field trips page for additional offerings, and sign up for our teacher mailing list to be notified of new topics!

I'm having trouble using the online reservation system. Help!
We are happy to help you navigate our online system. Please email groups@museumca.org Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Can we change our virtual field trip or in person self-guided visit after we have booked?
All changes to your virtual field trip or in person self-guided visit bookings are subject to availability and must be made with at least 14 business days notice. To receive a refund, self-guided visits must be cancelled at least 14 business days before the scheduled visit.

To reschedule, first book your preferred date through the online system, then contact us to cancel your original booking. For assistance, please email groups@museumca.org; we are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
