What offerings are available for the 2020/2021 school year?
While we are not planning to host on-site programs or tours this school year, check out our Virtual Field Trips. For any questions about Virtual Field Trips, please contact groups@museumca.org.

What platform do you use for Virtual Field Trips?
Beginning in February 2021, we will host all Virtual Field Trips on OMCA’s Zoom account. You will receive log-in information after booking online. Our Black History Virtual Performance will be live streamed on YouTube, with a recording available for classes who are not available or would like to celebrate Black History beyond February 19.

When will in-person school visits be available?
For up-to-date information about OMCA’s reopening and school group visits, sign up for our teacher mailing list.

What methods of payment does OMCA accept?
Virtual Field Trips for K-12 are scheduled using our online registration system, and require a credit card for payment. 

Can we get a refund if we cancel our Virtual Filed Trip?
You must notify groups@museumca.org 14 business days in advance if you wish to cancel your Virtual Field Trip and receive a refund. If you cancel with less than 14 business days notice, we are not able to refund your payment. For assistance, please email groups@museumca.org Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The Virtual Field Trip I want to join is sold out, what are my options?
If your preferred Virtual Field Trip is sold out, you can join the waitlist by selecting your preferred time slot through the program’s registration page. Select the waitlist button, and you will be contacted if your time slot becomes available. You can also check out our Virtual Field Trips page for additional offerings, and sign up for our teacher mailing list to be notified of new topics!

How do I qualify for discounts? 
OMCA is currently offering $70 tickets per class for OUSD schools, and free tickets for any California school with 75% or more of students qualifying for free or reduced meals. You can reserve your discount tickets through the main registration page and an OMCA scheduler will confirm your status through the California Department of Education website. If you are not validated, you will be contacted to rebook at the general admission price.

I'm having trouble using the online reservation system. Help!

Can we change our Virtual Field Trip after we have booked?
All changes to your Virtual Field trip bookings are subject to availability and must be made with at least 14 business days notice.

To reschedule, first book your preferred date through the online system, then contact us to receive a refund for the original booking. For assistance, please email groups@museumca.org Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 3:30 pm.
