Join us in the OMCA Garden for one night only featuring top comedians Marc Yaffee\, Siena East\, headliner Tatanka Means\, and host Jackie Keliiaa. DESCRIPTION:Mutiny at Port Chicago: Black Resistance and Redemption\n\n        \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nDue to popular demand\, we’ve expanded Gallery Activation Hours! \n\n\n\nGallery Activation Hours put a twist on the traditional museum tour. Using an informal approach\, OMCA facilitators combine content knowledge with lived experience. Centering community voice and encouraging dialogue in our galleries provides meaningful and fresh interpretations of our Special Exhibitions. \n\n\n\nWeekly Gallery Activation Hours are every Saturday from 1 to 2 pm and are included with Museum and Special Exhibition admission. No reservation necessary. \n\n\n\nOMCA Members have access to special Gallery Activation Hours every second Saturday of the month from noon to 1 pm.In addition to weekly Saturday Gallery Activation Hours and during the run of Into the Brightness: Artists from Creativity Explored\, Creative Growth & NIAD\, artists from the show will host Special Edition Gallery Activation Hours\, 12 pm- 1 pm every first Wednesday and as part of Friday Nights at OMCA from 6 to 8 pm. \n\n\n\nAccessibility\n\n\n\nOakland Museum of California (OMCA) is committed to providing programs that are accessible\, welcoming\, and inclusive of our community. Wheelchairs\, sensory inclusive devices\, and additional amenities are available for checkout on a first come\, first served basis at the Ticketing Desk.
