No reservation needed. \n\n\n\nEnjoy talking about Museum exhibition themes and exploring how they relate to your life? \n\n\n\nJoin us for Gallery Activation Hour\, an informal drop-in experience\, every Saturday 1pm – 2pm in OMCA’s Great Hall for Angela Davis–Seize the Time. Spend time with our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer Gallery Activation facilitators who will generate conversations and engagement throughout the hour\, reimagining how we activate our galleries. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Gallery Activation Hour\n\n\n\nGallery Activation Hour (GAH) puts a twist on the traditional museum tour. Using an informal approach\, our GAH Facilitators combine content knowledge with lived experience. Centering community voice and encouraging dialogue in our galleries provides meaningful and  fresh interpretations of our Special Exhibitions. \n\n\n\nAccessibility\n\n\n\nThe Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) is committed to providing programs that are accessible\, welcoming\, and inclusive of our community. Assistive listening devices and wheelchairs are available for checkout on a first come\, first served basis at the Ticketing Desk.
