Celebrating its 14th year\, Afrocentric Oakland is dedicated to building bridges across the African diaspora and improving the holistic wellness of the Black/African community in the Bay Area. \n\n\n\nIn addition\, DJ Fanny Fathom will be providing music on the Amphitheater stage from 6 to 8 pm. \n\n\n\nProgram Schedule\n\n\n\n5 pm  –  Face painting by Bush Mama  \n\n\n\n5–6 pm – DJ set by DJ K-La V \n\n\n\n6 pm – Meditation by Akilah Burford \n\n\n\n6:10–6:25 pm – Yoga Class by Rondy Isaac  \n\n\n\n6:30–7:15 pm – Live music by Soul Mechanix  \n\n\n\n7:15–7:35 pm – Afro Dance Class by Alicia  \n\n\n\n7:35–8:30 pm – DJ set by DJ Aebl Dee \n\n\n\nAbout Afrocentric Oakland\n\n\n\nAfrocentric Oakland has been dedicated to strengthening community\, building bridges across the African diaspora\, and improving the wellness of Black/African people in Oakland and beyond for 13 years. Over 75\,000 people have participated in Afrocentric Oakland’s culturally sustaining events and programs. \n\n\n\nAbout Friday Nights:\n\n\n\nReconnect with family\, friends\, and community at OMCA every Friday night. These free events provide a gathering place to come together each week\, including live music\, hands-on activities\, and Off the Grid food trucks. Take advantage of late-night access to our galleries and special exhibitions with a Museum ticket. \n\n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility\n\n\n\nThe Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) is committed to providing programs that are accessible\, welcoming\, and inclusive of our community.
