What are the many ways Asian Americans have contributed to the “Becoming California” story? How might more Asian American stories be uplifted and heard? \n\n\n\nPlease join our knowledgeable and enthusiastic Member Gallery Chats facilitators this second Saturday\, May 11 from 12 to 1 pm\, for this special OMCA membership offering: California AAPI HIstory \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBECOME A MEMBER\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFacilitator\n\n\n\nMargaret Yee has been volunteering at OMCA since 2017\, first as a History gallery docent and now as a School Programs and Gallery Chats Facilitator. Gallery Chats put a twist on the traditional museum tour by encouraging meaningful conversations and fresh interpretations to connect with the artwork\, artifacts\, and stories in our galleries. \n\n\n\nGallery Chats take place in our Special Exhibitions and our Galleries of California Art\, History\, and Natural Sciences every Saturday from 1 to 3 pm and are included with Museum and Special Exhibition admission.
