Parking

We’re making some improvements to our parking experience. Here’s what you need to know.

  • Beginning Wednesday, October 2, the OMCA parking garage located at 1000 Oak Street will be fully automated.
  • All guests will receive a printed ticket upon arrival. When you're ready to leave the Museum, you may pay for parking either at the kiosk located at the Level 2 garage entry inside the museum, or as you exit the garage in your vehicle.
  • Credit and debit cards will be accepted at both kiosk locations.
  • If you're an OMCA Member, you still enjoy discounted parking and you may continue to get your parking ticket validated at the ticketing desk or at the OMCA Store.
  • If you have any trouble at all while exiting the garage, simply press the "assist" button on the kiosk and an ACE parking attendant will help you.

The entrance to the parking garage is on Oak Street between 10th and 12th streets. Parking fees are $3 per hour. The OMCA Garage offers flat-rate parking during some special events. Parking during Friday Nights at OMCA is $7. The flat-rate fee will be collected upon entering the garage after 5 pm on Fridays.

The following credit cards are accepted in the OMCA Garage everyday (including days with event parking):
American Express, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover.

Disabled parking stalls and entrance to the Museum are on the main street level of the garage. An entrance ramp is located on Oak Street (adjacent to the stairs), and at 10th and Fallon Street.
