March 16, 2017Today, President Trump released his preliminary budget that includes the elimination of the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The Oakland Museum of California stands strongly against these cuts and joins with other cultural institutions, and, most importantly, all Americans who value the arts and humanities.
