Saturday, January 22, 2022 - 12:00pm

Welcome to our free program series Lunchtime Sessions: Music, Dance, and Storytelling. Grab your favorite picnic blanket, bring your lunch, and join us as we come together to delight in the joy of live performance in our outdoor 10th Street Amphitheater (near the Koi Pond on the Lower Level).  Discover a new favorite artist, catch up with friends and family, and enjoy an outdoor cultural event at OMCA.

* Please note: For the duration of the rainy, winter season, Lunchtime Sessions will be held at the 10th Street Amphitheater, not in the Garden. We plan to resume hosting Lunchtime Sessions in the Garden sometime in spring 2022.

Lunchtime Sessions are free and open to the public; tickets and reservations are not required. Food and beverages are not included. In order to maintain safety for all guests and staff, capacity may be limited. Please review our COVID-19 Health and Safety Information in advance of your visit. In the event of rain, this event will be cancelled.

Limited food and beverage offerings are available in our cafe, Town Fare. We encourage you to bring your own lunch and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.

About This Week's Artist:

SARITAH (sa-REE-ta) is on a worldwide musical mission to uplift, inspire and heal. Bursting with an organic sound that is a uniquely feminine blend of reggae, roots, soul and acoustic flavours, Saritah has a relentless passion for reawakening truths, contributing to the worldwide raising of consciousness, and inspiring people to live their purpose and follow their dreams.

Her new single NEW DAY, released on August 20 2021, is a reminder to give thanks for each and every new day that we are blessed with. NEW DAY was written in a yurt on Vashon Island, WA, produced and mixed by Tommi Tikkanen in Finland, and mastered by Tim Boyce in NYC. NEW DAY is a beacon of light in these trying times, infused with gratitude, grace and the determination to make the most of each day.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in Perth, Australia, and currently based in California, Saritah calls the world home. Inspired by the beauty of the planet we live on, as well as the overwhelming realities that face humanity on a day-to-day basis, her songs are celebrations, revelations, invocations, affirmations.

Equally at home fronting a full band on the big stage with an audience of thousands as she is with an acoustic guitar in front of an intimate crowd, Saritah has a positive vision for the future that shines through every word she sings and every note she plays. Playfully powerful, she has become a festival favourite with her infectious, beaming smile and colourful, energetic live shows.
