First Sundays at OMCA

Sunday, October 3, 2021, 11:00 am–5:00 pm
Sunday, October 3, 2021 - 11:00am

Spend your weekend with us at First Sundays at OMCA and find out why East Bay Express calls OMCA “the best museum for the people, by the people.”

Reimagine the past, present, and future through a Black cultural lens with Mothership: Voyage Into Afrofuturism. Discover the many sides of maps in You Are Here: California Stories on the Map and explore the power of photography as social activism in Dorothea Lange: Photography as Activism.

Grab lunch at our café Town Fare by Tanya Holland and relax outside in our updated garden. Experience all that our Galleries of California Art, History, and Natural Sciences have to offer.

Visitors are encouraged to reserve tickets online in advance to secure your preferred entry time and reduce your wait. Tickets are available at the admissions desk on a first-come, first-served basis. The suggested donation for general admission is $5 per person; there is an additional $5 charge for special exhibitions. Your contribution helps us provide access to other visitors in the community.
