Get your Valentine's Day groove on at Friday Nights at OMCA! Enjoy live music, DJs, Off the Grid food trucks, family activities, late-night gallery access, and more. Bring friends and family for a taste of local music, food, and culture at the Oakland Museum of California every week!

Ready for bigger and better Friday nights fun? OMCA is making some improvements to its campus to create an even more vibrant Friday Nights at OMCA experience. Learn all about OMCA's renovations and stay tuned for updates to your Friday Nights at OMCA experience. Late Night Gallery Hours

5–9 pm: Galleries Open Late
Explore the Museum’s 110,000 square feet of gallery space until 9 pm, including exhibitions and activities for the whole family.

Enjoy a rotating lineup of local gourmet food trucks from Off the Grid.

5–9 pm: Blue Oak Beer Garden
Level 1
Enjoy beer and wine specials from local makers.

Kick back and relax with seating available on 10th Street, the 10th Street Amphitheater, Oak Street Plaza, the OMCA Gardens or café patio.

Discover great California-themed gifts by local artisans, our broad book selection, find exhibition-themed favorites, and more. 




OMCA is located one block from the Lake Merritt BART Station. Event parking is available at the Museum for a $7 flat fee after 5 pm. Museum garage closes at 10 pm.

Food and drink are not allowed inside the galleries unless otherwise designated. No outside alcoholic drinks permitted. Enjoy drinks at the Blue Oak bars.
