Get your Oakland groove on at Friday Nights at OMCA! Enjoy DJs, Off the Grid food trucks, family activities, late-night gallery access, and more. Bring friends and family for a taste of local music, food, and culture at the Oakland Museum of California every week.

Ready for bigger and better Friday nights fun? OMCA is making some improvements to its campus to create an even more vibrant Friday Nights at OMCA experience, including a brand-new Garden stage for even more outdoor performances! In the interim, OMCA’s Gardens and 10th Street Amphitheater are currently closed. Enjoy your favorite Friday Nights activities in Oak Street Plaza and throughout campus.

Late Night Gallery Hours

5–9 pm: Galleries Open Late
Explore the Museum’s 110,000 square feet of gallery space until 9 pm, including exhibitions and activities for the whole family.

Oak Street Plaza
Enjoy beer and wine specials from local makers.

Kick back and relax with seating available in Oak Street Plaza. Seating is first come, first served. Picnic table reservations are unavailable during OMCA’s campus renovations.

Directions

OMCA is located one block from the Lake Merritt BART Station. Event parking is available at the Museum for a $7 flat fee after 5 pm. Museum garage closes at 10 pm.

Food and drink are not allowed inside the galleries unless otherwise designated. No outside alcoholic drinks permitted. Enjoy drinks at the Blue Oak bars.
