As part of our 50th Anniversary, we are celebrating with five Community Conversations, bringing together community leaders, thinkers, artists, and activists to lead us in a series of conversations about issues of importance to us here in Oakland and the Bay Area.

Join us for a special one-day program highlighting the work of Oakland and Bay Area chefs and community members as they explore the connection between food and well being. Food not only provides nourishment for our bodies—it also impacts our emotional and social health. This panel will feature chef Tanya Holland, chef Preeti Mistry, writer and restaurant critic Luke Tsai, and others.
