OMCA’s special exhibition, RESPECT: Hip-Hop Style & Wisdom is open and we want you(th) there! 

OMCA is offering a special one-day promotion for Oakland Unified School District high school students to access an OMCA Youth Pass (OYP). Bring your OUSD high school ID, get your OYP, and celebrate AAMD Art Museum Day on Friday, May 18 with OMCA!


What is the OMCA Youth Pass?
The OMCA Youth Pass (OYP) gets youth ages 9-18 into OMCA for free through July 29, 2018. Youth ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The promotion on Friday, May 18 applies to OUSD high school students only. 


Each OMCA Youth Pass includes

  • Guests! 3 student youth guests (ages 9-18), plus 2 adults (18+) per visit.
  • Multiple visits! Visit up to 3 times, March 31–July 29, 2018.
  • Hip-Hop! Admission to special programs and events inside RESPECT, see the Events page.
  • Gallery Access! Visit all three galleries at OMCA–Science, History, and Art.

How do OUSD high school students get their OMCA Youth Pass on Friday, May 18?

Bring their school ID card to the ticket desk on Level 2 during Museum hours (11 am–10 pm).


Can students come as a big group?

For OYP holders and guests coming to the Museum outside of school as a group of 20 or more, please email groups@museumca.org to reserve a time to attend together.
