It’s TGIF for Teachers! Drop by our second Teacher Lounge event to unwind after the week, swap stories with fellow teachers, and join a special program just for educators. To inspire and support your planning for Black History Month, this (Not You Typical) Teacher Lounge will explore multiple ways to celebrate identity and culture. Check out the agenda below for more exciting details about the event:

4–5 pm: Please note: This workshop is now at capacity and the waitlist is closed.
Participate in a compelling workshop facilitated by Facing History and Ourselves about how to engage students in meaningful conversations on race, racism and other challenging topics. Participation is limited, RSVP required.

5–7 pm: Enjoy art activities, complimentary tickets to Off the Grid food trucks and cash bars for the first 100 arrivals, a chance to enter a raffle to win prizes, free Museum admission including access to the powerful video installation Question Bridge: Black Males, and a one-night only 10% discount on your OMCA Store purchases. Learn about upcoming Black History Month performances and other program and tour offerings at OMCA.
