Thank you for a wonderful Ziggurat!

The Oakland Museum of California’s unconventional party on June 4 crowned a unique series of fundraising events highlighting Oakland food, style, entertainment, and community. It all started with (Not Another) Dinner Party on May 7, featuring synchronized swimmers and Oakland’s legendary Golden Mean Snail Car, and finished with the Ziggurat After Party, highlighting LIQUID FLOW, a world premiere documentary film on the uniquely Oakland art form of turf dancing and special live guest performers the legendary Turf Feinz. Throughout, Ziggurat brought guests together to share social experiences and celebrate Oakland’s vibrancy with their museum.

We would like to thank the attendees, sponsors, and the corporate and events committees for their generosity, not least the 450 guests who raised $470,000 through tickets, lounges, the live auction, and fund-a-need paddle raise.

Your support of Ziggurat helps OMCA’s innovative programs impact more than 320,000 children, families, and adults each year.
