Associate Curator of Contemporary History and Trends
Suzanne Fischer is OMCA’s Associate Curator of Contemporary History and Trends. Her past projects include Pacific Worlds, a major exhibition in 2015 which won the Excellence in Exhibitions Award, with Special Achievement in Contextualizing Collections with the Community from the American Alliance of Museums. Fischer led a co-created exhibition series with California State University (CSU) on topics affecting communities throughout the state, including Sunshine and Superheroes: San Diego Comic-Con; Hard Times in the OC; and What’s Happening, Sacramento? She came to OMCA from the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI, where she was Associate Curator of Technology.
