August
is Kaiser Permanente Month at the Oakland Museum of California
One of Kaiser
Permanente's most enduring organizational values has been to improve
the health of the community as well as the health of its members.
For more than half a century, they have demonstrated their commitment
by caring for the communities they serve and making them better
places in which to live and work.
At the Oakland
Museum of California that commitment was recently manifested through
Kaiser's corporate sponsorship of our Golden Gala 2002, which in
turn benefited the museum's education programs. As an early member
of the museum's Business Council and a long-time Oakland company,
Kaiser's partnership with the museum dates back to the early days
of this institution. More recently, Kaiser helped support "A
Tribute to Gordon Parks: The Man and the Music", a collaborative
effort with the Oakland East Bay Symphony.
Special thanks
to the many Kaiser employees who support the museum and to Kirk
Miller, Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary,
for his leadership on the Museum's Board. OMCA is proud to recognize
Kaiser for its continued involvement and support. Just show your
Kaiser employee badge to receive these special benefits for employees
during August 2002.
