April Showers Bring May Flowers to the Museum

California Wildflower Show • May 2–3, 2009

WHAT 40th Annual California Wildflowers Show
WHEN Saturday, May 2, 10–5 Sunday, May 3, 12–5
PREVIEW First Fridays After Five, May 1, 5–9 p.m. Party with your buds!
WHERE Oakland Museum of California, 1000 Oak @ 10th Street
One block from Lake Merritt BART
$ Included with museum admission: $8 for adults; $5 seniors/students with ID; free for members, City of Oakland employees, and kids 5 and under
WHY Enjoy hundreds of freshly collected native flowers from the Sierra Foothills—in stunning displays, microscope study areas, and demos and talks all weekend. Botanists on hand will identify plants and discuss gardening with native plants.
