Pencil to Pixel

Guest curator Andrew Lyndon, Chair of the Animation Department at California College of the Arts, explores the amazing world of contemporary animation with this special OMCA off-site exhibition on view at the Oakland Airport. Pencil to Pixel features the artwork of four Bay Area animation studios—DreamWorks, Industrial Light and Magic, Pixar Animation Studios, and Tippett Studio—showcasing the evolution of Pixar character Lotso from Toy Story 3 and six zoetropes with original artworks by Pixar staff.
