Fun for everyone at Family Explorations!

EDUCATION

At the Oakland Museum of California, we believe learning is a lifelong experience. We demonstrate that commitment through programs and events that engage all our visitors—from curious school kids to open-minded adults and everyone in between! Through our exhibitions, outreach programs, and community dialogue, we strive to cultivate a deeper sense of what it truly means to be a Californian.

When OMCA reopens in May 2010, it will feature first-person stories about California; wall labels in English, Spanish, and Chinese; and interactive gallery stations that invite our visitors to add their personal stories as they explore their own place in California's past, present and future.
