When we first arrived at the museum we spent some time in the Natural Sciences Gallery and Learning Center.

We had fun searching for different animals, drawing and writing in our journals and making fish prints.

"Fish printing is the pressing of painted rubber or real fish onto a t-shirt. The pressed fish create wonderful scale textures onto the fabric. If also using starfish and seashells, it is fun to paint seascapes for the fish. If using real fish, be sure to wash it well and don't press too hard lest the guts come flying out."
