FAMILY PROGRAMS

Visiting the Oakland Museum of California provides an exciting, mind-expanding experience for everyone in the family! Children and adult companions discover new aspects of the California experience through festivals, celebrations, and special events that complement our exhibitions.

  • Our monthly Family Explorations! program is an opportunity for children and adults alike to creatively explore California's heritage through hands-on science and art activities, story-telling, and performances. OMCA will present a brand-new calendar of family programs in May 2010.
