Celebrating 55 years of exceptional success, the White Elephant Sale is Northern California’s biggest and best rummage sale. In 2014, the Sale raised a record $1.88 million to benefit the Oakland Museum of California. Organized and presented by the Oakland Museum Women’s Board, the White Elephant Sale is made possible by donations from the public. The Sale takes place in a 96,000-square-foot warehouse site at 333 Lancaster Street, near the Oakland Estuary. With something for everyone, the Sale features an extensive array of quality used men's, women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, books, tools, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment and more.
The White Elephant Sale accepts donations of gently used, good quality items year round. For more donor information—including a list of items that cannot be accepted—visit the website at WhiteElephantSale.org
