White Elephant Sale

The annual White Elephant Sale is this weekend — March 7 and 8, 2015!

White Elephant Sale
Saturday, March 7-Sunday, March 8 • 10 am–4pm

The White Elephant Sale is Northern California’s biggest and best rummage sale. The Sale takes place in a 96,000-square-foot warehouse site at 333 Lancaster Street, near the Oakland Estuary. With something for everyone, the Sale features an extensive array of quality used men's, women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, books, tools, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment and more. Organized and presented by the Oakland Museum Women’s Board, the White Elephant Sale is made possible by donations from the public. In 2014, the Sale raised a record $1.88 million to benefit the Oakland Museum of California.

Parking and Shuttle
Parking is extremely limited in the neighborhood surrounding the warehouse. Please consider using the Fruitvale BART parking lot and taking our free shuttle to and from the Sale. The shuttle runs between the Fruitvale BART station and the warehouse site from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Parking in the Fruitvale BART garage is free on the weekend. Large items may be left at the exit of the Sale and picked up after retrieving your vehicle.

Daylight Savings This Sunday!
Remember, daylight saving time 2015 will begin on Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 am. It's time to "spring forward" by moving your clock an hour ahead this Sunday morning (or Saturday night in anticipation of Sunday morning).
