The Oakland Museum Women's Board and Oakland Museum of California thank you!
In 2016, for the second year in a row, the Oakland Museum Women's Board raised over $2 million at the White Elephant Sale! We can't thank all of the incredible volunteers, donors, and of course, the shoppers, enough for helping make this milestone a reality. This year's sale, the 57th annual, raised a total of $2.13 million from the Preview Sale on January 31 through the main sale weekend on March 5 and 6, 2016. Over the past 57 years, the Oakland Museum Women's Board has contributed a total of $24 million to the Oakland Museum of California. Annual contributions from the Women's Board support OMCA acquisitions, exhibitions, educational programs, and capital improvements.
