Tuesday, February 25, 2014 - 11:30am

OMCA's fourth annual Leader Lunch features the 20th and current President of the University of California system, Janet Napolitano. President Napolitano heads one the most extensive university systems in the world and is a distinguished public servant with a record of leading large, complex organizations at the federal and state levels. Most recently Napolitano served as Secretary of Homeland Security from 2009-13 and as Governor of Arizona from 2003-09, where she focused on education, from pre-kindergarten through public higher education.

Like the Oakland Museum of California, the University of California fulfills a statewide mission while fostering a strong local presence in the East Bay. President Napolitano will discuss how the University of California Office of the President plans to be a good neighbor to its home community.

The Leader Lunch is a ticketed Donor Forum event, and includes a wine reception, luncheon, presentation, and complimentary parking. For more information, please contact Amanda Schoeneman at aschoeneman@museumca.org  or 510-318-8502. Click here to learn more about the Donor Forum.
