Art Guild Travel | Malta and Sicily: Mediterranean Treasures

Wednesday, April 23–Sunday, May 4, 2014
Wednesday, April 23, 2014 - 12:00am

The Art Guild is excited to offer an art-filled journey to these ancient Mediterranean islands in the spring of 2014, organized by International Seminar Design, Inc., provider of many wonderful past Art Guild trips.

In Malta we will enjoy prime viewing of the Malta International Fireworks Festival, a centuries-old tradition dating back to the 1600s, as well as a wooden boat cruise along Malta’s coastlines. In Sicily, four nights in the city of Siracusa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and three nights in Palermo will give us insight into this ancient island’s cultural riches, including Roman villas, baroque towns, Moorish forts, medieval cathedrals, Byzantine mosaics and stunning landscapes.

A post-trip extension to the remote Aeolian Islands makes for an exciting addition to the adventure.

April 23 - May 4 (Correct dates are on the brochure)
