Art Guild Travel | Cuba On the Edge of Change

January 31–February 8, 2014
Friday, January 31, 2014 - 12:00am

Due to popular demand, the Art Guild returns to Cuba under the auspices of the People to People Educational Exchange. Instead of following the tourist trail, we’ll be meeting the amazing people of Cuba who are doing incredible things in the world of music, dance, and art. We will meet leading artists in their studios, attend private dance and music performances, and enjoy the company of students, professors and historians.

In an effort to support meaningful travel, People to People Educational Exchange permits Americans to visit Cuba legally. The itinerary is designed and managed by Cuba Cultural Travel, which has been licensed by the Treasury Department to operate People to People tours, and focuses on providing the type of intimate interaction and privileged access expected by Art Guild travelers. Cuba Cultural Travel has operated past Art Guild tours to Cuba, and the response to those offerings was overwhelming.

Our home away from home in Havana will be the 5-Star Hotel Parque Central. Throughout our tour we will enjoy intimate personal exchanges, visits to artists’ studios and historic monuments, tours of iconic architectural sites, delicious local cuisine, museum visits, and much more. Join us for a trip that promises to create life-long memories, foster unique friendships, and to exceed the highest of expectations.
