The huge White Elephant Sale is the first weekend in March, but the Preview Sale offers bargain hunters first chance at the marvelous merchandise. The 2012 White Elephant Sale features quality used items for sale and promises to be the biggest and best treasure hunt in the West. Tickets are $15 in advance (Preview Sale Advance Tickets). $20 at the door the day of the sale. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

The sale is located at the WES warehouse, 333 Lancaster St. (at Glascock), Oakland. The White Elephant Sale is organized by the Oakland Museum Women's Board. For more information, visit the whiteelephantsale.org.

 

The Oakland Museum Women’s Board, a dedicated group of more than 100 year-round volunteers, has raised more than $18 million to support the Oakland Museum of California acquisitions, exhibitions, educational programs, and capital improvements since 1959. The White Elephant Sale is the primary fundraising event of the Oakland Museum Women’s Board. Held annually during the first weekend of March, the Sale attracts a corps of over 1,000 volunteers from around the Bay Area.
