    New exhibition Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture opens today, and we've got visions of, well, shoes, running through our heads. With the opening happening just in time for the holidays, we decided to make a good old-fashioned wish list. We asked several sneakerheads on the Oakland Museum of California staff what are their favorite shoes in the exhibition and why.

Starting December 22, OMCA will explore the art and impact of this fashion staple in the new exhibition Out of the Box: The Rise of Sneaker Culture.
