OMCA responds to OUSD Teacher Strike

OMCA extends a warm invitation to families impacted by the OUSD teacher strike.

Amy Billstrom, Associate Director, Learning Initiatives

OMCA extends a warm invitation to families impacted by the OUSD teacher strike. From Wednesday through Friday, 11 am–5 pm, adults will pay regular admission, while children who attend Oakland Unified may visit for free during the strike.

Families may participate in Black History Month performances on the day of their visit. Contact Group Sales for more information.

Visitors can access family guides and self-guided school-age materials, which are available at the 10th Street entrance, Admissions desk, and Docent Center.

OMCA supports Oakland students of all ages in becoming changemakers in their own communities. We strive to inspire Californians to create a more vibrant future for themselves and those around them and we hope for a resolution that allows students in our communities to thrive.
